mishap...or maybe not :)

we were making chocolate covered pretzels today, and we used this melted chocolate stuff. apparently as my brother or i was transferring the pretzel from the chocolate to the plate, some dripped and created this:


it ended up looking exactly like a quarter note. crazy :) and completely by accident! and i didn't find it until i got home from my grandparent's tonight. and it turned out making a pretty good picture.

i love the little surprises :)

the concert was great....more than great. the ride was fun and good quality bro-sis time :) it was phenomenal to worship with john mark and his team. so it was definitely worth the ride, money, and lack of sleep. i'd for real do it again tomorrow if i could :)

so the retreat was really spectacular...mor than that, God showed up. He has proven Himself faithful again and again and again and again...He used me in ways i didn't expect and poured into me more than i expected.

so i'm packing...once again :) i am heading off to laguna beach tomorrow morning and i have to say, i am quite excited...

update on life:

the Lord has proven Himself faithful....yet again. He's
changing things that were causing grief and fret in my heart and others. He is
in the restoration business :)my brother's in kansas city having a great
time...without me. (but i'm okay with that)i'm taking the act in
october...finally.

so life is good, but only because He's good.

first day=good.

today was pretty satisfactory. not really any complaints except that i'm taking pre-cal...and it doesn't interest me at all. in fact i don't like math. but it is something that has to be done, so here i go. i just finished my homework at 5:45ish. i had more bible homework than anything else, which i think is awesome. i had forgotten how energy consuming(mentally) school is over the summer, but the Lord is faithful. it's going to be a good year. yep, it is.

i was made to gaze on beauty, and if i love the Lord in a day...then i have accomplished my purpose for that day. amen. and the new cd is amazing :)

i just finished of mice and men by john steinbeck. it was incredibly depressing. i'm not into depressing books, so lets hope that tuesday's with morrie (my next required reading) is a little more on the jovial side.
i am now taking mass media/journalism this upcoming year due to the lack of space in the art classes...so that should be interesting. i guess i like writing :)

i'm learning to hear the Shepard's voice. it's great just to feel that nudging in your heart that you know is the Lord, when there is no doubt it's Him.

there is One found worthy, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David. Jesus you are fairer than the sons of men. there's never been a man that's more alive than you Jesus. glory, glory to God in the highest.

no one who's hope is in the Lord will ever be put to shame. You are the rock that is higher than i!!!!!

home is a stinking great place to be. i don't think i've ever been so homesick in my life as i have this week. yes the conference or whatever was good, but with my friends and family is where i belong :) i'm about to go and get my license!!! i think once i do i will finally feel 16. so i love you guys and i can't wait to see you!
